Caring For Your New Mountain Boots

Nikwax

We recommend using Nikwax on our Mountain Boots at least twice a year, prior to your hunting season and afterwards if you're going to store the boots until next year, and as needed throughout the year especially if you have been hunting in wet conditions.

Conditioner and Oils

We recommend using leather conditioner on our Mountain Boots after you've confirmed they fit and you're ready to begin breaking them in. We also suggest reapplying as needed throughout the lifetime of the boots as the leather begins to dry out and/or stiffen up.

    Schnees - Divide Mid's

Posted by Robert KAUFMAN on Sep 8th 2020

One of the best boots i've ever purchased. Went on my first 4 mile hike after two weeks of breaking them in an was very impressed how they feel, grip and breathe.

    Divide mid

So far so great!! Other than the fact that after three attempts to contact someone to discuss size I went ahead and purchased the divide mid. It runs true to size, construction is what you would expect from Schnees, in a word, perfect. The attention to detail is outstanding and they are built to last. I have only put a few miles on them and they are going to require considerably more to get them broken in. I will update after my sheep hunt in Sept. I can see these lasting for many many seasons. I bought them because I have a pair of schnees pacs and these don't disappoint. First time I've ever pulled the trigger on a pair of boots this expensive but so far they do not disappoint.
