Fit, form and function create the foundation for these high alpine boots. The set the benchmark for all the copy cat brands of boots out on the market. Buy once, but the best......
I have now worn these boots hunting elk in Idaho, Stone's sheep in British Columbia, and mule deer here in my home state of Nevada. I encountered heat, rain and deep snow with very cold temperatures. I carried a pack for 14 days in B.C. And honestly climbed some serious mountain terrain as anyone can attest who has hunted sheep! These boots are and were unbelievably comfortable from the get go. Never a blister and traction upon which you can trust your life. If your boots are not comfortable and if your feet are cold or wet you will be miserable and your hunt will be ruined. These boots are like having insurance, always there protecting you from the bad stuff. BUY THESE BOOTS, I GUARANTEE YOU WILL LOVE THEM AND WILL BE AN INVESTMENT FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT AND COMFORT !!!
These are great boots. Worth the price. Before you buy online, talk with the people at Schnee's to make sure you get the right boots. I am 235lbs and needed a stiff boot for support. These are great about 10-15 miles with good socks and they are broken in like you have had them for 10 years.
Schnee's Granite Boots are the best boots I've ever owned. I've put many miles on Meindl, Lowa, Han Wag boots, but none of them are as capable as the Granite. Steep side hills, rocks, deep snow, creek crossings, heavy loads -- you name it, this boot handles it well.
