Product Overview

From the outset, our Granite boots were engineered to withstand the serious abuse sheep hunters put their boots through. It’s not uncommon for a professional guide to cover thousands of miles and millions of vertical feet with their Granite’s. The upper is constructed from 2.8mm top grain Yukon leather, making for a supremely durable boot. Underneath is our Flex-3 chassis for ample support over the most extreme terrain. On the bottom, the Granite has been strategically outfitted with our exclusive custom rubber Vibram™ Tsavo™ outsole. This outsole will stay softer and grip better when the temps drop, while still maintaining durability and long life span. Finally, the Granite has been finished off with roller-bearing hardware and a heavy duty rubber rand.

Caring For Your New Mountain Boots

We recommend using Nikwax on our Mountain Boots at least twice a year, prior to your hunting season and afterwards if you're going to store the boots until next year, and as needed throughout the year especially if you have been hunting in wet conditions.

Conditioner and Oils

We recommend using leather conditioner on our Mountain Boots after you've confirmed they fit and you're ready to begin breaking them in. We also suggest reapplying as needed throughout the lifetime of the boots as the leather begins to dry out and/or stiffen up.

Got these for my grandson. He works on a ranch in MT. He absolutely loves them. They keep his feet dry and warm. The first boot to do that!!

    Best of the rest!

I fancy myself somewhat as the Imelda Marcos of hunting boots.... I need a boot that is uber comfortable and super tough. No blisters after 10 mile hike, no laces coming undone and warm in all the right places. I've been wearing Danners for years, but they started hurting my feet after a full day chasing game. I have heard great things about Schnee's, so I bit the bullet and paid for a pair.......... All I can say is they met every single criteria I had and then some. Great boot, bullet proof construction and THE MOST COMFORTABLE boot I've ever owned. Never again will I have another brand in my house.

    Excellent mountain boot

Very high quality boot - I've worn a variety of high quality, leather mountain boots and this one is right up there. I run a non-insulated boot for August Alaska hunts and a light insulated boot for September and later season hunts. I hate it when the insulated boots feel too roomy or squishy, but the Granite 200g is warm, slim, and very stout and supportive. I'll be packing moose, caribou, and deer quarters a long way with these!

    No wet feet

I chase black bear with hounds in southern Appalachia. I wear these boots 6 days a week and not once have I had wet feet. I’m in rock cliffs and laurel thickets most of the day. They have held up to the abuse. On an average day I walk anywhere from 5 to 10 miles. No complaints about sore feet.

    Granite 200’s are mountain beasts

It was 9 degrees when I left the truck to glass for Mule deer. I went up over 1000 feet in under a mile of crusty first snow on grass and brushy hillside. I sat for two hours with subzero windchill Then climbed another 1000 feet of loose snow covered rock. After sitting again I did a 1000 foot toe jamming descent on more loose rock followed by another 1500 foot increase in elevation and another mile of ridge walking. Temperatures warmed above freezing and the icy 6 inches of new snow became wet as I transitioned to still hunting a burn. My feet brushed through wet brush for hours before i headed back down to the truck. I did not get s mule deer this morning but you know what else I didnt get? I didnt get blisters, frostbite, sore feet, or wet socks! Bury me in these things. Best boot I ever had.

    Forever boot.

I was in the market for new hiking/hunting boots. Heard about Schnee’s my whole life but thought them out of my price range. But after having “average” boots limiting the time I could be on my feet I went for these. Couldn’t be more impressed, well worth the money. Choose the Granites over the Beartooth because of the mountain hiking/scrambling I do during elk season in the Rockies. Never once have I felt limited or unsupported with these boots. If I ever wear them out I will not hesitate to buy them again.
