Product Overview

A Schnee hall of famer and the warmest boot we make. When the temps bottom out and the snow keeps piling up, the Extreme is the boot serious outdoorsmen reach for. Built for the most brutal cold that can be thrown at you, it’s our answer for hunters, anglers, and adventurers who refuse to let frozen feet cut a day short. Handcrafted to the exacting Schnee standards, the Extreme is designed to keep you warm long after other boots have given up.

At its core is legendary Schnee craftsmanship and an insulation system built for the far end of the thermometer. Our precision built, imported hand-laid vulcanized rubber bottoms, among the finest in the world, are lined with 600g of Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation and an additional ½" of wool felt underfoot, wrapping your foot in warmth from the ground up. Inside, a removable 400g Thinsulate™ liner brings the total to 1,000g of insulation, with the flexibility to swap liners in the field when needed. Underneath it all, the Advantage sole delivers sure-footed traction across ice, snow, and frozen ground.

Whether you’re heading north of the Arctic Circle, sitting on the ice in sub-zero temps, or just done with cold feet in the tree stand, the Extreme Pac Boot delivers the warmth, durability, and reliability that the coldest days demand.

Caring For Your New Pac Boots

We recommend using Schnee Leather Dressing on our Pac Boots at least twice a year: Once prior to your hunting season and once again before storing the boots before the off-season. This leather dressing is an especially protective conditioning balm with the very highest water-repellency. Reapply as needed throughout the year especially if you have been hunting in wet conditions in order to keep the leather nourished and protected.

Once you’ve confirmed that the pac boots fit your feet, apply an all natural leather conditioner or oil to help soften the leather uppers and start achieving a personalized, glove-like fit and feel that’s uniquely yours. We recommend using Pitch Blend Oil for maintaining and preserving the leather of your boots. Reapply this oil as needed throughout the life of the boots, especially as the leather begins to dry out or stiffen over time.

Sizing

Our Pac boots come in whole sizes only and do not come in half sizes. They also only come in a Medium (D) width and recommend going up one size if you need a wide. All of our sizing is true to size and is based on the brannock device, which is the metal foot measuring device in most shoe stores or footwear departments. If you do wear a half size, we recommend going up to the next whole size. For example, if you wear a 10.5 normally, then we recommend going up to a size 11.

Converting From Men's Size To Women's

All our Pac Boots are unisex, but are built on a men's sizing scale. There is an approximate 1.5 size difference between Men's and Women's sizing.

A men's size 7 is roughly equivalent to a women's size 8.5.  Since our Pac Boots only come in whole sizes, in this case we would recommend going with a women's size 9.
