SCHNEE RETURNS/EXCHANGES POLICY:

Here at Schnee, we pride ourselves on the craftsmanship and performance of every boot we build. But we also understand that each foot is unique, and sometimes a return or exchange is simply part of finding the perfect fit. Our goal is to make this process as smooth and straightforward as possible, so you can get back to the mountains, fields, and trails with confidence. To make this process as seamless as possible, please review the following details:

Eligibility

We will gladly accept returns and exchanges on products within 60 days of your order’s delivery. Furthermore, to qualify for a return or exchange, items must be:

  • In like-new condition i.e. not worn outdoors
  • Free of dirt, scuffs, hair, or other visible wear
  • Returned with the original packaging and components (including original liners, laces, inserts, etc)

Any items showing wear, damage, alterations, or otherwise violating the policies listed above will be subjected to a 50% restocking fee or may be ineligible for a return/exchange altogether.

If you feel that you have received a defective product that has not held up to the Schnee standard, please refer to our warranty policy.

Our Return Process

  1. Visit our return portal at the top of this page and enter your order number and zip code/email address.
  2. Select the item(s) which you wish to return or exchange.
  3. For your first eligible exchange or return for website credit on an order, return shipping is free. Subsequent exchanges for the same order will incur a $20 *processing fee.
  4. On refunds back to the original payment method, a *processing fee of $20 will be deducted from your order’s refund total.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email once your return or exchange has been received and processed.

Additionally, please note that for a refund back to the original payment method, your original outbound shipping payment and/or $3.98 return coverage charge will not be refunded.

*For customers that opted to purchase the $3.98 return coverage offered at checkout, the $20 return processing fee will be waived. This offered return coverage will also enable unlimited free exchanges provided that the exchanged products adhere to the eligibility constraints listed above. 

Return Coverage Details

At checkout, customers will have the option to add Return Coverage for $3.98, a small investment that can save both time and money. When this coverage is selected, all eligible return and exchange shipping labels are provided at no additional cost, removing any uncertainty from the return process.

Redo Return Coverage is designed to offer added peace of mind, especially for customers new to Schnee boots or anyone dialing in the perfect fit. If you anticipate trying multiple sizes or exchanging more than one pair from the same order, this coverage quickly pays for itself by eliminating return shipping fees and simplifying each step of the process.

While completely optional, we strongly recommend Redo Return Coverage for customers who want the most flexible, worry-free experience when finding their ideal Schnee fit.

Exchanges

We are always happy to help you find the right boots, socks, or fit. Through our return portal, you may:

  • Exchange for a different size/width
  • Exchange for a different color (when applicable)
  • Exchange for a different model of boot.

Exchange orders are typically entered into our system the business day following the delivery of your returned items. We aim to ship out orders as fast as possible, but exchange orders that are entered into our system after 12:00 PM MST will generally ship out the following business day. Thus, please allow as much as 2 business days for your exchange to ship to you, prior to reaching out to us. For any further questions regarding shipping, please refer to our shipping policy.

Refunds and Store Credit

Once your return is received and verified as eligible, we will process your selected resolution.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Store credits are issued as digital gift cards that are immediately available for use on Schnees.com.


Upon receipt of your items, we will typically process your refund the following business day. Most banks may require additional time for the credit to appear in your account, so please allow 3-7 business days for your refund to process following our receipt of the returned items prior to reaching out to us.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

We are happy to assist you with shipping claims for packages that are lost or damaged during transit. By initiating a claim through our return portal, we’ll work with the selected shipping carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. 

Claims must be filed within the carrier’s allowable window, so prompt action through our return portal is greatly appreciated.

International Returns

If you are located outside of the United States, return shipping fees and duties may vary. Please refer to our return portal for instructions specific to international returns.
