Mystery Ranch Bino Qick Draw Harness

Posted by Carl Tidmore on Jul 26th 2019

I decided to upgrade my current bino harness that kept my binoculars close to my chest when hunting to a harness that would do the same thing but would add protection from the elements as well as provide pockets for carrying essential items such as wind indicator, GPS, etc. The Mystery Ranch Quick Draw harness had all of these features as a very reasonable price. I like the magnetic snap that holds the top cover over your binoculars to protect them while walking or crawling and you can fold it out of the way when glassing for game. The harness comes with two nylon straps that can be attached to your binoculars that have more than an adequate length to keep your binoculars from hitting the ground if they accidently slip from your hands. The straps are connected to a clip that can be released to pass your binoculars to another person that does not have one. Other reviews I have read on this item have stated that the strap that goes around your chest is not long enough but I did not find that to be an issue. I am a big guy, 6'2" and weigh 240 lbs. and the straps expand out fine for me. My binoculars are 8 x 42 Optolyths and fit fine in the harness. I can't wait to use these on my next elk hunt.
