Ranching is a day-in and day-out business, but there are those moments when all is right and calm on the land and in those moments, the Duckworth ranchers and founders - The Helle family - go full bore playing in the beautiful and pristine lands that serve as a backdrop to their daily lives. For The Helles, no recreation tops throwing on the skis and taking a few laps on that very same local ski hill, Maverick, which incidentally serves as the crucible for the idea behind the proud USA made Merino Wool clothing brand. The Maverick line, a 160 grams per square meter 100% Merino Wool base layer line, was named to honor the genesis of the Duckworth mission. Heat trapping, soft, sweat wicking, pure, odor free AND American made, this is truly a maverick in the world of Merino Wool gear.
