Good fit and quality construction. I have an older pair that is 14" but went with 10" this time around as I didn't want the extra bulk. I've found that I prefer the shorter height if I'm on the ground working and on/off a horse all day. As typical with winter pack boots there isn't a lot of arch support so I added a quality orthotic insole which made all the difference.
Exellent product and very comfortable to wear. Keep your feet warm and dry. Very good quality.
I can't recall having any boots feel so right straight out of the box. Feet feel toasty even on minus 20 days here in SD, but my feet aren't sweaty on warmer days. The quality is evident when you see and handle them. Couldn't be happier.
Received my boots in an amazingly short amount of time. The fit was perfect and right out of the box these are the most comfortable Pac boots I have tried. I have been looking for a long time for a pair of boots that would keep my feet warm when sitting in a treestand deer hunting. I was hoping these would be it. First hunt temps were right at freezing. Not a great test, but feet stayed warm for a 4 hour sit. Boots I was currently using would not have been able to do that. I have in the past found boots that were comfortable, and boots that were warm, but not both. I think I finally reached that goal. These are easy to walk in, not something that can usually be said of Pac boots. Tried them in the stirrups on both of may saddles and these slip in and out easily. Can't comment yet on durability but I think the Schnee's reputation has that covered. These get 5 stars because 6 is not an option.
Overall, I am very happy with these boots. Got them just in time for the first snowstorm of the year. It was 12° when I saddled up and rode out. Was in the saddle for 6 hours and my feet stayed nice and toasty. If I wasn't in the saddle I was walking through slush and mud and my feet stayed warm there as well. My only complaint is that my spurs are not able to be worn on these boots.
Great boot.Heirloom quality. Just a word of caution on sizing - Probably a full size smaller than my Montana II TT - both size 11.
I did a lot of investigating before purchasing this boot and glad I went with this one. Fit was great out of the box, the shipping was really fast and got them in time for the subzero temps we had a couple weeks ago. Wore them with only a cotton sock to see how warm they were and wasn't disappointed. A great boot from a great company.
