Caring For Your New Pac Boots

Pitch Blend

We recommend using Pitch Blend on our Pac Boots at least twice a year, prior to your hunting season and afterwards if you're going to store the boots until next year, and as needed throughout the year especially if you have been hunting in wet conditions.

Conditioner and Oils

We recommend using leather conditioners and/or oils on our Pac Boots after you've confirmed they fit and you're ready to begin breaking them in, this will help soften the leather upper and expedite the break in process. We also suggest reapplying as needed throughout the lifetime of the boots as the leather begins to dry out and/or stiffen up.

This is the best boot I have ever owned. The leather is of the highest quality, as is the construction of the boot. I hunt in the SE USA and it is perfect for the climate. I would not be hesitant at purchasing any product from Schnee's. I imagine that is why they are sold out of many items a lot of the time.

The Guide ADV is a fantastic spring and fall boot for the midwest when everything is wet, but you still need some support and stealth in the woods that full rubber boots just don't offer. Good flexibility in a gripping sole, nice construction and leather work, and the seam where the leather and rubber meet actually keeps out water. I'd like to see the lace hooks a tad larger, but the components are solid. A bit too tall (by choice) to be worn under pants so find a pair that can be tucked in.

Best boots you can buy! I took these on a Southeast Alaska Moose hunt. Hunted hard for 6 days through standard Southeastern Alaskan weather conditions. Hiked constantly through soaking wet muskegs and rain forest and even into the steep slippery alpine and these boots did not let me down once. Just make sure you give them a few healthy treatments of the Montana pitch blend and they wont disappoint. I would recommend these boots to everyone. Very satisfied!
