I used the Hyalite boot on an archery elk hunt this fall and had great success. While I would not recommend it for carrying really heavy loads for long distances. The boot's lighter-duty sole was perfect for walking quietly and comfortably all day. And the boot seemed to breath better than other waterproof membrane boots I've worn.
Good job on the new boot! The Hyalite made a really nice addition to the rest of my Schnee's boot collection.
